Censorn, 2025
Censorn is a solo show by Stockholm-based artist Susanna Lind (b. 1994). Inspired by Jung’s ideas about the unconscious, the works explore the concept of the censor, something that bridges the gap between the dream world and waking life, where meanings shift, dissolve and sometimes get lost in the transition to conscious awareness.
She primarily works with oil painting and her artistic practice draws on abstract mathematical structures, which she translates into existential and philosophical questions, reflecting patterns and systems found in nature, society, and within herself.
Susanna holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Stockholm University and has also studied at Idun Lovén and Nyckelviksskolan.
A selection of her previous works includes:
SOFTWARE for Habib1 (2019), Closure for Ruby Empress (2019) and First Cut for Sindy (2020).
Group exhibitions: Var inte rädda (2022), Fredhällskollektivet (2024), Office Kickoff på Ingenting (2025).
Solo exhibition at Volta (2025).
Performance/editorial project DOPPELGANGER, published in Besatt (2025).
