Abby World Curation, 2024 -
Exhibition program for Abby World curated by HUD SPACE.

#1
Miranda Borg Blomquist (b. 1999).
On view 24.10-10.1.

Miranda Borg Blomquist's creative process is driven by a combination of intuition, material exploration, and the embrace of chance. Without traditional jewelry-making skills or equipment at the outset, she developed an unconventional approach that allows her to work creatively within the constraints of her tools. Her technique is deeply connected to the natural properties of materials, letting their raw qualities guide the process as she sets intuitive frameworks and welcomes the unexpected.

#2
Behin Roozbeh (b. 1992).
On view 12.02-12.05.

This exhibition is a continuation of Behin Roozbeh’s solo presentation at HUD last year, exploring a fixation and fascination with Alice in Wonderland through a contemporary lens. Using oil on canvas, with elements of oil pastel and charcoal, she has created her own version of Alice, an original character navigating the complexities of our time.

Behin Roozbeh is educated at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts and Konstfack in Stockholm. Most recently, she had a solo presentation at AW, Huddiksvallsgatan, and participated in the group exhibition Half Hearted, Whole Hearted, Veliko Tarnovo.
